Logo is a graphic mark, emblem, or symbol used to aid and promote public identification and recognition. It may be of an abstract or figurative design or include the text of the name it represents as in a wordmark. Numerous inventions and techniques have contributed to the contemporary logo, including cylinder seals, coins, trans-cultural diffusion of logographic languages, coats of arms, watermarks, silver hallmarks, and the development of printing technology.

Logo is an important element of the brand image. Designing a good logo often requires involvement from a marketing team teaming with the graphic design studio. Types of logo

Font
Logo made up entirely of text. Thin or strong font reflects the essence of the brand and easy to read.

Graphic
A visual image based on a graphic element with an identifier inside. This invokes explicit brand associations.

Combination of graphic and font
A variation using the graphic element with text component both.
